Can you imagine if I say ‘fridge can speak with a washing machine‘? No right, but it is actually made possible at the world’s top high tech fair. The question is. How is it made possible? Well, with Hydra, it is. Christian Prause, a software developer has unveiled his unfinished ‘hydra’ software that can control household electrical through mobile phone.

Prause exclaimed, the yet to be finished ‘hydra’ technology when equipped on your smart phone can send a message to washing machine to turn itself on. And in case it doesn’t work, you can in turn ask your refrigerator to send another message to the washing machine. Imagine you left your house in a hurry, forgetting to close the curtains. The moment you realize that you are not done with the said work, you are already 200km far from your house. Stay relax, with the help of the new ‘hyrda’ technology, you can text your curtain remote control and if that doesn’t work out then make your television of the radio to pass through the job.

The research continued for about 4 years by about 10 different partners on the Fraunhofer Institute, German and was financially supported by the European Union. Prause insisted that Hydra saves you energy time and hassle, further with a spot of luck, the new technology could appear on shops very soon.
