The first home insurance provider of UK, the M&S is about to offer its customers two significant policy when they make a claim, to support them to quash out the impaction to the environment. The two new policy is been brought to limelight from today (04-01-2010) that could reduce energy and carbon emission, saving nature. The first policy says that when ever M&S customers claims for their washing machine, fridge or any other house hold appliances, they will be replaced with A+ rated appliance that are Eco friendly.

If any part of the insured appliance is badly damaged, the second policy explains that it would be replaced by sustainable components. As per a survey which was authorized by M&S, it was reported that the two policies has gained a warm welcome from public. About 61% of people belonging to Great Britain are interested to save nature from the impact of electrical appliances. Mat Colmer, head of energy saving trust said that it is high time for the companies to take a step forward on producing safe to nature products.
