Xerox Ltd, a British company has been under research for about 30 years to develop ‘virtually waterless’ washing machine. It seems as if the year 2010 has enlighten their dreams to come true. The company has exposed its recent conception with the American market. The machines was tested for years in the Leeds University by Xerox and finally after a great drudge, they have decided to sell it in partnership with Kansas-city company, Green Earth Cleaning, which strictly adheres to the nature, offering Eco friendly dry cleaning services.

The new virtual waterless washing machine has got many attractive features to offer. To wash your clothes, the machine needs just a pinch of detergent and cup of water. I hear you asking, how about the dirty clothes? The answer , Nylon bead chip, they suck up the stains and dirt off the fabrics. The most interesting part is that the chips are be reused even after hundred of washes. It is been expected that it can reduce 30% of power and saves 1.2 billion tones of water. Virtually waterless washing machine is available for commercial use and if it is found successful, it will be gradually developed for public use.
