Last week little swan purchased about 84.83 million share of Royalstar. At present an interest of about 69.47% is been held by Little Swan. About eight product lines are been maintained under Royalstar which has got a capacity to output 8 million units of washing machine annually. In the industry of washing machine, Royalstar ranked third in the domestic market since it touched 81% of sales in the year 2008, by selling about 2.96 million washing machines. Haier, Little Swan and Panasonic were the top three market share holders of washing machine. Royalstar came fourth following Panasonic possessing a share amount of 7.9%.

Recently they went through a reshuffle after which, Midea, Royalstar and Little Swan, the washing machine brands of Midea Electric Appliances were announced to be centrally managed by Little Swan. R Guangdong Midea Electric Appliances controls both Little Swan and Royalstar.
