Yeoh Jit Shiong, a mechanical engineer aged 25, mistakenly left his wallet in to the washing machines. The wallet actually contained RM200 which for his surprise was found unrecognized. The printing on the notes including the serial number were completely washed away. Also to his surprise, the old notes were able to withstand the wash but not the new notes. Mr.Yeoh claims that the incident happened on Saturday evening which shocked him, making him to remains about the security threat of the nation.

The news notes which was actually supposed to be an upgraded and improved version, found unrecognized is now a question mark. Mr. Yeoh exclaimed that he took the new notes from ATM and were genuine and new, which he used it to pay the cashier in a petrol bunk who validated using the bank note detector. The issue should be taken seriously by the government, with immediate action for the problem.
