The sweet smell of butter melting over pancakes filled the air as Wilma walked about the living room, picking dirty clothes that were scattered helter-skelter. Tyler’s socks, Patrick’s jersey, her old scarf that was now being used to dust Tyler’s bike - all lay shamelessly about, and she picked them up with, “The boys!! They’ll never learn.
