Simpson And Electrolux Machine Models Are Being Recalled

It is been reported that ten out of thousand washing machines that were sold in Australia are about to recall back as it was suspected to cause an electric shock. Virginia Judge, who is the fair trading minister warned that if unknowingly water or detergents were splashed on the lid, the machine causes electric shock. She also added that the consumers might experience a very gentle tickle feeling on the fingertip when they touch the top of the washing machine.
About 11 brands of Simpson and Electrolux machine models counting nearly 185,000 washing machines which were sold since September 2007 are being recalled. Regarding this issue when asked to the manufacturers said that the mild shock will cause no serious injuries and that the consumers must be aware and take preventive measures. Also the manufacturers are about to arrange a free of charge repair service using experienced technicians to the washing machines.
