A kitten was found dead in a washing machine. A 20 year old Daniel Harris, student of Aberystwyth University, admitted himself for the death of the kitten. The case was taken to the court by the cat owners, Simon Pritchard and Megan Johnson and was prosecuted by Mr. Gerald Neave. Harrish said that he knew the kitten was inside washing machine and added that it is common for him to place the kitten inside the empty washing machine.
He was actually playing game with the animal in which the kitten use to push the door to open and spring up. Harrish apologized that as he was drunk that day he closed the door forcefully than usual and forget to open the door that the kitten couldn’t open the door. Neave argued that this incident created distress to the owners for which Harris was ordered to pay £85 as penalty and 12 month conditional discharge by the court.
