Energy Efficiency Made Compulsory To Washing Machines

When asked to a senior official exclaimed that this plan will lead to immense saving on the electricity bills of the consumers along with safety and better health. Dubai has planned to set new standards for about eight household appliances and is believed to eliminate the low energy efficiency products very soon may be in a three years time.

Local manufacturing and trading firms, about 200 in number are been given a time period of six months to ensure the newly set standards into their products. The Acting Director General for ESMA said that the consumers of different type get in touch with the household appliances that include even children and hence asked the manufacturers not to pose health risk on the consumers. Some of the other products that are made compulsory for energy efficiency are air-conditioners, refrigerators (chillers and freezers), and electric stoves.
